Music Review – The Color Chill

The Color Chill “The Color Chill EP” (Self-Released)

The Color Chill is the solo ambient project of Nicholas Scott Bailey. Bailey crafts incredibly warm amibent/electronica songs. Unlike the cold, stale vibe that plagues so much electronic music, The Color Chill never fall into that lifeless trap. While this is definitely downtempo music, these seven songs never bore. The Color Chill’s material is always moving and building towards something exponentially greater. These seven songs take you on an expansive journey across beautiful landscapes of sound. The Color Chill have the wonderful ability to play towards your mood. These songs can relax or breed a strong creative energy. That flexibility may be Bailey and The Color Chill’s finest gift.

Genre: Ambient/Electronica
