Jena Berlin…

JENA BERLIN – Release Date / US Tour
* In Support of New Album Quo Vadimus

Jena Berlin’s sophomore full-length Quo Vadimus will see an August 14th release date from Jump Start Records. Both the band and the label have posted new songs on their respective myspace pages. Go here for “Instruments” and “Motion Sickness,” and here for “I Swear We’re Leaving.”

Quo Vadimus (recorded by Steve Poponi at Gradwell House Studios) is the follow up to Jena Berlin’s critically-acclaimed debut Passion Waits As The Program Keeps Going. Last year the band toured extensively, making stops at Macrock and The Fest in Gainesville. They were recently named one of Alternative Press’ “100 Bands You Need To Know In 2007.”

Jena Berlin will also be touring the US in April and May with Brooklyn, NY’s Nakatomi Plaza.

You can read my review for Jena Berlin’s debut here. This new album is a monster. I will probably be at the Charlotte show. Come hang out!
